Everyday Wines

-A great way to start the tasting with everday, affordable wines.  This gives us a base for the more expensive wines.

2007 Snoqualmie Winemakers Select Riesling $

Moderate Priced Wines

-These wines sell for $20 to $30 a bottle and represent a region well.  At most wine dinnner tastings these would be the top end wines you would try.

Nose:  Floral, slate, Petrol

Taste:  Sweet, slate, floral, petrol, peach

High End Wines

-No one but John pours these types of wines at a tasting.  These are the top wines of the regions without going crazy on price.  Alsace and Germany produce completely different styles of Riesling.

2004 Muller-Catoir Gimmeldinger Mandelgarten Pfalz Spatlese $$$$

Color: Light gold

Nose:  Floral, citrus, mineral

Taste:  Very  different then the Loosen with spice, floral, wet rock not much sweetness as it is a drier styled wine

Finish:  Medium and balanced
