Color: Light gold
Nose: Mineral, lemons, dough
Taste: A mouthful of flavors featuring dough, mineral, lemon, pear
Finish: Medium and good acidity
Evaluation: For $20 this is as good as Sparkling gets 89 points

Color: Pink
Nose: Strawberry, floral
Taste: A touch of sweetness with strawberry and minerals
Finish: Really clean
Evaluation: This is a great Sparkling Wine at $11 88 points

Taste: Light but features floral and mineral
Finish: Short but satisfying
Evaluation: This is why points only work as the description would not sell this wine but it is good 87 points

Color: Medium gold
Nose: Lemon, lime, dough, mineral
Taste: Power with mineral, dough, chalk, lemon, pear and very crisp acidity
Finish: Complex and a lot going on
Evaluation: This is one of the best NV Champagnes92 points

A nice starter wine that featured lemon, mineral and grapefruit characters. A nice summer wine for a hot day. 86 points

Taste: A nice touch of sweetness with lemon, pear, mineral
Finish: Medium and no rough edges
Evaluation: A nice step up in sweetness then your typical Brut style 89 points

Nose: Lemon, mineral, chalk
Taste: Medium flavors with lemon, chalk and mineral
Finish: Short
Evaluation: Average 87 points

Taste: Mineral, pear, apples
Finish: Medium and solid with tons of flavor
Evaluation: Well made Champagne 89 points

Taste: Medium intensity with lemon, dough and orange peels
Finish: Short and the taste fades quickly
Evaluation: Piper Heidsieck remains my favorite for $25 or less 87 points

Color: Light gold
Nose: Dough, mineral
Taste: Very earthy with a hint of dough
Finish: Almost too much minerality for me but has a medium finish
Evaluation: More intense finish than the Cuvee Brut but not as good 84 points
1999 Mumm DVX Napa Valley Sparkling Wine $$$
Color: Medium gold
Nose: Nuts, mineral
Taste: Crisp and shows nice acidity
Finish: Medium and Classic Cali Sparkling. Maybe a little too dry
Evaluation: Solid but not much better than Gloria Ferre at $15 87 points

Nose: Classic Champagne with lemon, dough, minerals, pear
Taste: Nice balance of fruit and mineral elements
Finish: Medium and is balanced
Evaluation: Always a winner at $30 88 points

Taste: Minerals, strawberries, raspberries
Finish: A bit bitter but good acidity
Evalution: Simple but good for under $15 86 points

Taste: Great acidity with chalk, lemon, shells, sour apples
Finish: Wow, with mineral, lemon pie, dough, apple, pear, great acidity on this long finish.
Evaluation: Note as good as a year ago 91 points
N.V. Michel Arnould & Fils Grand Cru Brut Champagne
Light gold and a nose of pear, dough, mineral. The palate showed good acidity and finished with a medium finish. Nice $35 Champagne 90 points

Taste: Sour apples, minerals, a bit off

Evaluation: This is classic bottle variation with the Appellation California 82 points

Taste: Rich wine with lemon, dough, mineral, pear
Finish: Medium and shows great acidity

2004 Scramsburg Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine $$$
Color: Light gold
Nose: Pear, dough, lemon pie, floral
Taste: Great at room temp with lemon, limes, pie crust, candied orange peels
Finish: A little bitter but shows balance
Evaluation: Better day 2 then one. I would cellar these a few years 90 points
