Medium gold that really showed great form at this point. A vibrant nose that featured shells, lemon, straw, grapefruit and minerals. A medium, concentrated finish and a real value for under $30 on sale. 90 points
2005 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Cote de Bouguerots
Not as colorful as the Montmains and many of us believed this wine to be in a closed phase. I had it back in February and it showed so much more so I will be cellaring the remaining bottle for a while. Not much fruit emerging from the glass and it featured shells, chalk and straw. Previously I gave it 93 points but currently 90 points

Carmel, cedar dust and lemon on the nose. The palate delivers a lot of wood, carmel and orange peel. This wine was probably a victim of the classic vertical storage that so many wine shops are known for. This is not even close to as good as previous bottles and while White Burgs don't last forever I can't imagine such a decline. (85 points)
